I am still here. I have progressed. I love it.
I have successfully moved into the second phase of my running program. I am now running for one minute and walking for four, then repeating nine times. I honestly was a little nervous to try, it is funny what you can convince yourself to do. To any of the experienced runners out there, I really really envy you and your ability to run consistently for more than a minute at a time. I know that this will come in time, but right now, I envy you.
I love that everyone is talking about music on this blog. Music is what keeps me going in any workout. I have a few runner friends that listen to quite mellow music when they run (Jack Johnson, City and Colour, pretty much anything acoustic), right now I know that would only lull me to sleep. I have two three songs that I have been running to, that aren’t at all the same pace but I like them.
