After dining heartily at Cedars at lunchtime, I was in no mood to come home and go for a run. Regardless, I got ready and hopped on the treadmill. 20 minutes was my goal. I flicked on the stopwatch, then decided to try a little experiment: I flipped it over.
The run was considerably easier without having a ticking clock stare me in the face and tell me how much I needed to quit. So much so, I wound up running for 30 minutes – my best and longest run so far.
Bugger me, as the English say.
